Sleeve or ball bearing fan
We can do sleeve or double ball bearing fan,that 2 version are different in performance,service life, noise,cost and so on.
What about sleeve bearing?
Sleeve bearing,we also called it oil bearing. The main feature is the use lubricating oil as lubricant, the initial use is low operating noise, low cost. This bearing uses sliding friction and lubricating oil to reduce friction and resistance. However, with the increase of use time, the lubricating oil will gradually run out, resulting in increased friction and noise. Especially in the high-temperature environment for long-term use, the noise of oil-bearing will become more obvious. Therefore, oil-bearing is not suitable for products that need to operate silently for a long time, such as medical equipment or industrial equipment.
What about ball bearing?
Ball bearing , especially double ball bearing, using rolling friction, there are several tiny steel balls rotating around the axis. This design allows for relatively little friction and no oil leaks problem. The significant advantage of ball bearings is their long service life, up to about 60,000-100,000 hours, while having good anti-aging properties, suitable for high speed fans. Although ball bearings are more expensive and noisy at the same speed level, their stability and durability make them preferred for high-performance applications.
